TASTING

This wine has a brilliant ruby red colour and an intense nose of vanilla, brioche and small berries – in particular blackcurrant, blackberries and raspberries. All these fruits are wrapped in a creamy oak coating with fine tannins and fresh acidity. Perfect to drink today with white meats and charcuterie. The wine will age well and will be perfect in a few years with red meats dishes.

2013, A WET AND LATE YEAR

The winter was a quite mild and relatively wet one, whilst spring was marked by high rainfall and cool temperatures. Due to tricky weather conditions, flowering was late compared to the last 10 years and yields were very low, but a dry and sunny period in July and August allowed the grapes to ripen nicely.
