Straw yellow color with golden highlights. Clean and shiny. In the nose it’s fruity, with citrus and tropical hints such as orange zest, pineapple and mango peel. Pronounced intensity. On the palate it’s fresh, unctuous, combines fruity notes with subtle notes coming from its malolactic conversion and aging in barrels (fresh butter, baking notes, vanilla and cinnamon nuances).

ikigall 2023

Wine of a carefree character made from rigor, with a base of xarel.lo of very good quality, complemented with Malvasía de Sitges and Moscatel de Alejandría, with a fragrant and evocative nose and a dry palate. Notes of yellow Ordal peach, citrus (mandarine), orange blossom and fennel. In the mouth, Xarel.lo takes center stage, a true “rock star” from the Penedès area, aged for 4 months on fine lees. Citrus, fresh and saline, with an agile texture and great liveliness, Mediterranean herbs and the perfume of fennel appear in the retronasal. Ideal to enjoy with friends by the glass and with some snacks.
Inspired by the Japanese concept “Ikigai” “the reason to live”, this is a wine that we humbly believe is worth living.
Señorío de Beade White

To keep hold of the fantastic array of aromas from the specially-selected, hand-picked grapes, this wine was made at low-temperatures and boy oh boy are we glad it was.
The colour is pale yellow with greenish hues. For taste, think white fruit and subtle floral notes with a good whack of minerality on the finish. Pow!
With its fruity, fresh mouth feel it pairs well with steamed vegetables, or pasta topped with cheesy or creamy sauce.

TEXTURED DRY WHITE CALLED THE CHABLIS OF SPAIN
This organic, vegan-friendly white wine has been called the Chablis of Spain. It is made from Xarel-lo grapes harvested from 45-year-old vines. Young and fruity in conception, the nose is very perfumed, powerful, with hints of aromatic herbs such as green fennel. Final marking with a very pleasant vegetable aftertaste, very fresh and with light mineral notes.

STORY BEHIND THIS WINE
The Montrubí estate, which is located in the Penedès region of Catalonia, was founded in 1984 by the Peris family. Their vision was to craft unique terroir wines using local grape varieties such as Xarel-lo, Sumoll and Garnacha while subscribing to an organic winemaking philosophy.
The bodega and vineyards are situated in an area over 2,000 feet above sea level just 60 kilometres west of Barcelona. MontRubí was named in honour of the 19th century property in L’Avellà town that the Peris family refurbished to house the winery.
The philosophy at MontRubí is one of traditional viticulture; sustainable and environmentally friendly, albeit with a simultaneous commitment to innovation.
