Description
The 2 hectares of selected vineyards are located on the slopes of the south-west side of the Avia River Valley. The soils are very poor, with low calcium and clay content, but with the typical Ribeiro high content of granite sand “Sabrego”. The mountains protect the region from the influence of the Atlantic Ocean. The slightly continental character, combined with the prevailing air currents, causes a significant difference in temperature between day and night, which contributes to the slow maturation of polyphenols, making the wine rich and aromatic.
