Description
This Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru champagne from EPC is a 100% Chardonnay Grand Cru from the Avize and Oger terroirs, created from the five most beautiful parcels. It is a cuvée of character, a true ode to Blanc de Blancs.
With the EPC brand, we enter a new experience of consumption by tasting the champagne in a traditional glass of the Champagne region and very friendly: the blida. Another innovation: the presence of a thermo-sensitive disc that indicates when the champagne is at the right temperature.
After 52 months of aging, and a low dosage of 3g/l, greediness (with notes of praline and hazelnut) and chewiness are present. The balance is perfect with the freshness of this champagne.
This Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru champagne from EPC, a real delicacy, will be perfect as an aperitif or during a meal, with poultry in cream sauce or simply a Comté cheese aged 24 months.

When tasted, Lilian Ladouys always reveals a rich and crisp structure with ripe tannins and refined oak which melts into an explosion of fruit. It has the opulence and length of a Saint-Estèphe fine wine. Thanks to the appellation’s limestone-clay subsoils, its power is balanced out by a wonderful sensation of freshness.
Our top wine is matured for an average of 14 months in our superb barrel store (40-60% new oak depending on the vintage). Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot make up the majority of the blend, with the proportions varying from one year to the next. They are supplemented by Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. The estate’s wines go into gravity-fed vats and undergo vinification with a partially gravity-based system, which is more sensitive to the integrity and subtleties of the grapes and the wine.
Famille Vauthier, Château Moulin Saint-Georges, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, 2013
The terraces of Moulin Saint-Georges (7 ha) face those of Ausone (same owner). Thanks to the quality of its terroir and the refined style of its wines, Moulin Saint-Georges is a sure bet in the appellation. As the Revue du Vin de France's 2024 guide points out, "quality has been impressively consistent for over two decades, and prices remain reasonable. The only regret is the quantities available...".
Jean-Philippe Janoueix, Château Croix Mouton, Bordeaux Superieur, 2017
Ch. Croix Mouton is a wine that surpasses its appellation, which means that the quality is higher than one would expect. The estate is in hands of Jean-Philippe Janoueix, same owner as Ch. La Confession (St. Emilion) and Ch. La Croix St. Georges (Pomerol). Small returns (46hl/ha), cultivation of the soil, leaf removal, sorting out when harvesting, use of gravity when putting the grapes in the cuvees, elevation on new oak, etc… all those things contribute to top quality for a very reasonable price. Jean-Philippe Janoueix is a very precise person, which reflects in the quality of his wines. Les Tours de Laroque, Saint-Emilion grand cru, 2018
This exceptional second wine from the French vineyard Château Laroque near Bordeaux is a true delight, with a fragrant bouquet of intense fruit and dark notes. A perfect harmony of black cherry, cassis and plum liqueur unfolds on the palate, complemented by elegant tannin and a tremendous finish. This juicy fruit and the velvety tannin of Saint-Émilion are precisely what give Laroque wines their signature finesse.
